Skoda superb 2.0 tdi turbo limp

Featured Replies

Hi car keep going into limp mode

Does any one know how to clean the turbo

If you can get the car codes read with vcds this will help ID problem more quickly. I see that you have posted on superb section too - I have VCDS and not too far away. PM me and I'll try to assist.

Also check the rubber vacuum tubing to the wastegate has not split or perished - this will stop the turbo variable vanes working properly and will cause limp mode. Also N75 valve diaphragm may have perished.

I would try these 2 most likely causes first before trying to clean turbo.

Read thread for info.
