Hi guys,

 

So after my amundsen screen packed in a few months back I decided to open her up and check what had happened.

 

immediately I could see that on the board mounted just behind the screen there was a track which was clearly burnt out so I thought 'Great, that's an easy fix' after sorting that out the problem was still there so now im beggining to think that maybe one of the nearby components was shot at the same time.

 

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge and/or a circuit diagram as im just shooting in the dark at the moment.

Tbh the cost of a 2nd hand one for me it wouldn't be worth repairing :( not much use I know but a new one is about £250

£250 for a  brand new one or a second hand one? its probably just an easy fix though :/.

Second hand one no idea on cost new :(

Got an Admundsen+ here for £300 if youre intrested. Father in law got it as a temp fix for his superb when the columbus went.

Can't afford it at the moment but if the offer is still there this time next month I'll have that off you?

If I get a second one I can easily fix my one cause I could power them both up and use a meter to see what's gone but sadly that's not an option right now. Guessing nobody has any other ideas?
