VRS Wheel Size - advice needed

Featured Replies

Hi

Firstly apologies for another wheel size question, but I couldn't see anything that would answer this.

Now I can get adaptive cruise, I might get a VRS to replace my Yeti.  But I already have a second set of 17" Annapura alloys for winter tyres.  I'll need new tyres but will the wheels fit?

Annapura 7x17 ET45

VRS Gemini 8x18 ET51

Bolts, centre bore of 57.1 etc all the same I believe

This online tool at 1010tires.com showed 19mm more inner clearance and 7mm in from outside edge, so hopefully yes.

Or have I missed a key point!?  I think the 17" should clear the brakes as I read elsewhere that 17" would be OK.

Thanks all

They should be fine - I looked at a set of Spitzberg wheels, which are similar, as winter wheels for my VRS and they worked fine, although I opted for selling them and getting some more sporty ones. The only potential issue is that they not specified by Skoda for the VRS and so should be notified as a mod to your insurance.

Thanks - actually rechecked and its the Spitzberg that are my spare set, not Annapuras (same wheel spec though).  So the same as yours.

Are they  5 x 112 PCD?

Are they  5 x 112 PCD?

If they fit the Yeti they will be

If they fit the Yeti they will be

Oooh, I love 'fill in the missing word' puzzles...  :D

I'm going for "If they fit the Yeti they will be schmokin'"

abominable
