Skoda Damaged by Flying Wheel!

Featured Replies

If only the squishy human would have been a bit quicker, damage to a Skoda could have been prevented.

"It came roaring down the road"

"He look startled" - hardly. It's more like "Uh, that was a wheel" look!

That's spooky, it nearly happened to out Citigo last year.

Driving through Stow-on-the-wold last year and I see sparks coming from the front NS of the vehicle behind. He came to rest at the side of the road then a wheel around 3 feet away from the off side of our car came wizzing past us and came to rest on the other side of the road. Being as we were at the traffic lights and they had just changed to green I had to keep going. Luckily no one was hit, but a coincidence that wheel came off an old Land Rover too.

My mates folks were hit by a detached lorry wheel on a motorway, came off and few back into them. Did a fair bit of damage to their Nissan sunny (this was in the 90s) but they were ok.

All Electric Skoda Kings Heath. About half a mile from where I used to live.

This happened to me

Bagged it

Certainly slammed it into the tarmac... Who needs airlift

Didn't this happen to a chap on here last year or the year before? I remember seeing a load of pictures. Then again that might of been twik fit...

What a poorly written article sensational none sense.

It would have killed him? Nope, no one can be sure of that, it may have just grazed him.

If his head had been next to the wing mirror that it would have squashed his head. Yeah because before I get into a car I always put my head next to the wing mirror, you know, just so we can have a little chat.

I hate the daily mail.

Haha !!!!! Little chat

"Now wing mirror, I've always been good to you. I clean off the dead flies and cobwebs eventually. Please just be good this time and show me whats really there instead of lying to me and calling it a 'blind spot'."
