You tube problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I hope someone can help, my son likes to watch his friends vids and other stuff on you tube at lunchtime at his firm, unfortunately, they have just installed signall blocking epuipment there, due to the nature of his work.

He was using youtubedownloader to download the films in the evening, and watch them the following day, but after spending 3 days removing a virus that I eventually traced to the program installer, I don't want him to use that again.

Are there any programs that are tried and tested as just doing what they say and not bringing the underworld hackers along for free?. My neighbour uses Real player, but I have not used this in years.

Any help is appreciated, but it must be a totally ofline and local to machine option, as he has zero net access.

Phil

Just type kiss into the link of the Youtube video. This takes you to a page that allows you to download the video (with different options of file format / quality etc)

I've used it for years! Best of all, you don't need to install any host software etc. Just make sure the PC has up to date Flash and Java plugins. The only thing that is downloaded is the video itself.

for example if the url to the video is: www.youtube.com/eyrhjgutjg

You type kiss after the www. but before the youtube, giving you; www.kissyoutube.com/eyrhjgutjg

Hope this helps!
