Another well priced/equipped used Spaceback

Featured Replies

Spotted this at the dealer I got ours from. It's possible the one which replaced mine in the showroom in July, so may be a MY 14.

Seems a very good price, as the showroom listed RRP was just shy of £18,000 for this SE TSI 105 with full Sportpack; wish it had been an ex demo when I got mine, would have saved even more :S

Tempted by that

That's a lot of car for that money! Someone will get a bargain.

Nice.  The only question is how many miles will it have on by New Years Eve when the buyer can collect?

The two 5 month old TDI demo's I originally went to look at had done 2.5k and 5k, while the  slightly older TSI ex demo I also tried had just short of 600 miles.

Wouldn't expect it to have any more miles on than these.

I actually looked at that car last night. Showed the wife, she likes it. Me as I have said in the past I don't like white or black cars but that Spaceback does look good indeed in that colour.

Only negative I see is there appears to be some damage on the driver side door card, could be muck though who knows.

Now the best bit, it's about 20 minutes drive from me, my local Skoda dealer.......hmm

Could you not negotiate to get the door card replaced if it is damaged :wonder:

Having seen the car myself (or an identical one) it is a very nice looking car in the white.

I will have to find time to go and see this one.

What happens with some of these dealers they say the car is at a certain place and it happens to be at their other dealership miles away, I know it's happened to me before. Anyway that can be sorted with a phone call. I went to the one in Chesterfield (I was already up that way)  they had 1 Rapid at the time yet on the website quite a few.

Don't understand why they would advertise it now with that mileage etc over 2 months away, thus keeping a propective buyer waiting. What happens should it get damaged, marked in anyway, ok they would make it good but you want it as you viewed on the day. Or is it to lure you into the showroom, perhaps on to something else.

Anyway no harm in viewing.

If they register as a demo then they have to keep it on their books for three months, why I'm not sure possible a financial agreement with SUK.

If you decide to do a deal on the car, then probably it will see little if any use for the reasons you stated.

The 'damage' on the door card is water that has run in off the roof.
