Squeaking Seat...

Featured Replies

So I had the rocking seat syndrome which was sorted by fiting a new base under warantee, now as you have just stated ion another thread Lummox, it now squeaks quite badly, can this be replaced under warantee and do I need a whole new seat?

Any one with experience? :o

I have the same squeaking seat... rather irritating.

Ive had both front seat bases done under warranty on the Octy, must be a common VAG problem, aparently Silicone spray or WD40 on the underside of the seat works as well

Do what i did, get yourself an ear infection, i've had it for over two weeks now and for some reason my seats are now silent.....seriously though, i wish i COULD hear them squeak!

Booked in to Skoda Beckenham Thurs morning at 8.30am... to see if theyll do it under warantee...

Mine started squeaking after about a month. Not got around to booking it in yet - seems like a load of hassle so I'll wait till first service or till something else breaks.
