Windscreen Rings

Featured Replies

Saw these on both the front and rear screens as I got in car first thing - it was misty. They look like the suction marks from when the front and rear screen were fitted. Can they be easily removed with some substance or is it a back to the dealer job?

Thank in advance.

This has been mentioned on here before, but can't find the thread. They're marks left from when the screen was installed at the factory, and will come off with glass polishing fluid or something like that IIRC. Best do a search on here for the answer for yourself, just in case!

I did do a quick search, but could only find the post from WayneH, but his problem seemed to be a crayon mark rather than what looks like a suction mark, and he ended up having his screen replaced under warranty.

Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Some glass polish from Halfords should do the trick. I use it on mine from time to time to get rid of old RainX before applying a new coat.
