New member checking in!

We've been pondering on swapping our family car ('06 Volvo V50 T5 AWD) for something newer and the Octavia III has been pretty high on the list for a while now. I've actually been reading the forum quite extensively while making the decision and got some great tips.

But last week it finally happened. We ordered an Octavia Combi Elegance 2.0 TDI 184 4x4 DSG after test driving both the petrol and diesel versions. (The little extra grunt and better fuel economy of the diesel won us over.) Now it's a waiting game. Delivery should take place in April.

I look forward to getting some great advice on the forum and hopefully helping others out as well.

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K

Recirculating Button not working

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

In my Skoda Superb I recently had the warning light come on on the dash to warn me that I had some non-functioning light bulbs. All of the faulty bulbs have been replaced including both headlight bulbs. The warning light is still illuminated telling me that my left hand main beam is still faulty. Both headlights function as normal in both low and high beam. How can I get the warning light to extinguish? (all bulbs seem to be functioning correctly)

Hey everyone. My car is developing what I'm 99% sure is topmount bearing noise when slow manoeuvring, not so much a creaking but more of a bearing moving kind of noise (people who have had it I'm sure will know what I mean). . I've has it on other cars too. . My car only has 27k on and is a 68 plate facelift vrs. What are my chances of getting it sorted under warranty? . . I've only owned the car just over 4 months and it's already had the water pump replaced
