Taken over by Marshall Motor Group about 18 months ago.

 

The site has Audi, VW and Skoda under adjacent showroom roofs but share a common service operation at the rear. 

 

Some recent personnel reorganisation, from one make to the another, within the site and in my view they have lost some focused product knowledge/ expertise .

 

Generally,  it appears to me, they are now a more corporate operation and not so "local" identity friendly.

 

However, in the two deals I have done with them over the last 3 years I had no complaints.

Can't complain that at all, excellent service, nothing to much trouble and found them very knowledgeable. One week into my new mk3 vrs tsi and loving it. Feel pretty confident that should any matter arise that it would be dealt with correctly and efficiently with these guys

Recently moved to South Molton so took our Octavia 1.4TSI Elegance to Marshalls Barnstaple for a service and first MOT and a warranty repair to a failed front parking sensor.

 

Service done quickly and efficiently, took a couple of weeks to get the front parking sensor painted before they could fit it but all sorted and all working now. Loan car was a Citigo, not brilliant but OK as a run about.

 

Marc was very friendly, efficient and chatty.

 

Will definitely consider going back to them next year, would like comments on local independent VAG specialists...
