Well everyday is, but some just make you smile more. With work I travel a lot, when I went to pick up the car I've got for the next few days I received a surprise. An Merc E Class AMG is all mine for the next few days boy the run down to Brighton tomorrow is going to be so much more fun

It's badged up AMG inside? Lovely AMG wheels too, don't think they fit on the Yeti though! And yes, it is very fun in sport mode with the flappy paddles

Fail! When I started reading this I thought it was going to be an E63 AMG but turns out its just a diseasel E250 Cdi. :-(

Still goes without saying "there's no car faster than a Hire Car"! Lol

So it's not a 'proper' AMG, oh well it's still great fun, only cost £60 to fill up as well

The drive and handeling are great, little back end step out when you blip the accelerator on a mini round about, lots of smiles going on

And Clarkson did get one thing right, hire cars are the fastest in the world (all within legal limits of course)

Alot of the AMGs just look so needlessly flashy. I pulled up next to a CLA with an AMG badge on the back & full bodykit at some traffic lights. When it was obvious he wasn't accelerating slowly I put my foot down and passed him (won't say what speed on here). Point being they should really save the badge for cars that deserve it, not cars that can be beaten by a skoda octavia.

The sound is usually a give away. An E63 would of roared even if it was just sat at the lights haha.

Was listening to music at the time but I was honestly expecting it to make THAT sound and fly away from me. Dissapointing :(

had the same with my courtesy car it was a e220 sport diesel estate with amg bits all over it was fun to drive for a couple of weeks though
