Met up with my local AS man today. He just happened to have the brand new Topaz on the van released today.

Got suckered in to 5ltrs of the stuff, for £24.

Off to try it on a slightly tired black fiesta now

Heard good things about this. Apparently it can survive brake cleaner!

 

Going to see my rep this week and get a demo.

Interesting - but a quick look on DW seems to suggest its mainly filler based and no actual abrasives or cut to it.

So really a glaze, wax/sealant type product.

Wish someone could give me a straight answer on what this product is.............

 

So annoying when they call something a polish which clearly has no abrasives or real reason to bear the name polish at all....grrr.  Rant done.  Sounds impressive but resisting brake cleaner (claim) is very much about the test method.

No cut with filler.

Applied it just to the bonnet using a black finishing pad via da, really nice to work with, easy on and off. Brought a lot of clarity to the paint and does a good job of filling the lighter swirls present.

Time will tell on durability. Will do my missus full car with it this week and see how it goes. I know that it can't be removed with IPA.
