Metal Grey VRS Estate Stolen - MK64 GVL

Featured Replies

No one on here I hope, and best of luck with finding it if it is. A down side of having a desirable car.

Stolen from East Bolden, in South Shields - keep an eye out.

VIN TMBKK7NE6F0047199 which decodes as:

Škoda Octavia III Combi RS 2.0 TDI 135kw
model year 2015, production number 047199
7x airbag, production plant Mladá Boleslav (CZ)

Sorry to hear the news.

Keys out stolen out of porch, it's the age old question of leave them closer the door and risk stealing or keep them near you and risk a beating. I'm in the risk a beating category. A shame though indeed.

:( sorry to hear that mate. At least you suffered no harm (unlike Bian I wouldn't fancy facing up to a couple of ruffians in the night!)

I read recently the insurance premium for vehicle 'kept on street' is often now below 'kept on driveway' because of the number of crimes like this.

it was not the OPs car, he has just linked to a news story from a newspaper.

Im in the risk a beating, but laugh as my 4 staffies are chasing them out the house catagory :D seems to be a lot of octys going missing recently.

Yes - not my car, but scarily similar (well the same model and colour). My keys live in a special place and I have various security measures, shall we say! Seriously though, bad news for a fellow owner - especially after all that waiting about for delivery.

Also - if you are on this forum having stolen a VRS, then you have a cheek.

I had to chuckle at Mrs D's comment to the Gazette about not understanding why anyone would steal it...

"It’s a family estate car. It’s not as though it’s a sporty car".

Ho-hum!

About 5 miles away from me - and I get mine on Monday !

Suspect someone has clocked the car and the theft was planned; in the end though it's just a piece of metal and a - holes like this would probably seriously hurt or kill someone (be it intentional or somewhat in heat of the moment) to get away with or without the car to avoid arrest.

I wouldn't be surprised of the car turns up having been used in another crime. I'd hope it doesn't show up as I'd personally not want the thing back after some morons stolen it and driven the a out of it.
