Passenger wing mirror won't stay in place

Hi There,

I have a Fabia 1.2, 70bhp, 2009

The wing mirror toggle does not seem to move glass mirror properly anymore. If I push glass mirror back into position by hand, within a few minutes it has gone out of position again.

I've read you can unscrew whole inside door panel to view the cables connecting mirror to toggle and that some clip may have broken or fallen off.

Anybody had this problem and resolved it WITHOUT going to Skoda to fix?
