I got my bilstein kit fitted to my vrs today.. How long should I wait to get alignment done.. My alignment is all over the place after having it fitted is this normal.?

should be done as part of the job IMO

Leave the car settle for a week or so then take it in. I left mine a little too long i.e. a couple months and noticed uneven wear on my front tyres!

I actually got it done today and will get it re done if i have to .. The alignment was so bad after it being done that it wasn't safe to drive the car was all over the place.. I had wishbones and ball joints changed plus the kit fitted and new top mounts.. So now have the bilstein b12 kit fitted and the whiteline rarb..

Very difficult to find anywhere in Ireland who can set a car up correctly. After one so called reputable tyre fitter made mine worse I went to Frank Keane VW in Dublin 12 and the tech there set the car up perfectly.

Yea its very difficult to find someone competent enough to do a good job.. A local mechanic who I use for all the work on my car fitted the kit for me.. He said it was a nightmare getting the old shocks out every nut was ceased.. Lol.. I got the alignment done in Dundalk at the wheel alignment centre.. He seems very good.. After having the alignment done twice before in 2 different places in drogheda he was the first to get the car driving straight. Lol plus he charges only 45 euro.. That other place looks like they have a good setup..

So my limited edition is sweet now with the b12 kit rarb she handles like a dream.. I also put the mrk3 badges on the other day.. I got the bilstein b12 kit at a steal from Germany at 585euro including shipping..
