Hello, just been made aware of this website (thank god) I'm in the process of looking for a Fabia Vrs to replace my car which recently blew it's engine. I realise with my budget of £2500 I'll be looking at a high miler - not that it bothers me as long as it's been looked after. Can anyone give me advice on what to look for as I don't buy a lemon. Better still anyone want to sell one haha

Do the usual checks you would when buying any used car. 

I always look for service history, tyres are the all the same make, if a mix & match could be the owner has neglected it a bit.

Test drive tells a lot. Accelerate and ease off the gas in each gear, see if it jumps out etc.
