Squeak from front

Featured Replies

It doesn't always happen, but it did when I went into town just now and so I played to see what did it.

Going over bumps does it, as does coming off the accelerator. Which the second in mind, its got me thinking maybe an engine mount is going? Ie as the engine is rocking back and forth with the pedal.

It made no squeaks coming home mind, just the gas filling up in the suspension over bumps.

Any ideas? And if a warranty should cover it? Or easy to do myself? I'm happy to take any part apart to check

Oh the car is a PD100 on a 51 plate and has just passed 40k.

Any ideas? Or should I just turn the stereo up?

Nothing off hand without looking at it, nothing should really be worn at that mileage.

Youve run over a cat/rat/rodent?:)
