Fitted the apr intake to the vrs Tsi.

Quality is excellent. A bit more to the fitting as had to remove an extra plastic panel that wasn't in the instructions (for a mk7 gti)

Sound - slightly more intake noise on heavy acceleration, you can hear the turbo build boost and the blow off is also more noticeable, not boy racer by any stretch.

I would say it has taken circa 100 miles for the car to adapt to the change. There is a very noticeable increase in torque and throttle response day to day driving. Second gear now really pulls strong. I would definitely recommend this intake kit. I purchased from awesome gti who have always been great to deal with.

£449. I have paid close to double this for similar kits from Gruppe m for previous NA cars. This is on the same level quality wise.

Will also be putting the k and n panel filter with about 5k on Her up for sale

Is the engine standard other than the intake kit?

if its like the apr kit I had on my Mk2, you will be surprised how much better it sounds on the outside of the car, even though the difference is quite subtle on the inside, if you get it on a rolling road, stand in front for a listen
