Ok I found the byte

But on byte 3 there is no option for bit 4 xenons without shutters?

Do you need an upgraded central convenience module perhaps?

And that is ?

That is what you are accessing when you said

"I open vcds do the test click 09 - cent electric" - Central electrics 09 is the central convenience module.

That is a physical module under the dash which controls locking etc etc - If it is older than the headlghts you are attempting to retrofit you might need module 09 from a car matching the age of the headlights.

People have done the retro fit to there cars same age nothing said about upgraded module

Get someone who has done the upgrade to post the part number (which comes up when you access module 09 on VCDS) and compare it to your module.  The last letter in the part number is key.  I still suspect an age related issue if you don't have the option to allow it.
