Octavia styling !

Featured Replies

Hi guys ! Recently bought a skoda octavia and I'm hoping to improve the looks of the car step by step ! Here's my car at the moment at its first show last week ! Does anyone know does a bora front rubstrip fits or has to be altered in any way ??

No picture mate!

I think from memory, you have to have a minimum number posts before you can include pics / links.

What are the details on what yer after acquiring?

age, fuel, colour, shape etc...

Don't think the bora rub strip will fit but if you wanted one so you can fit side marker lights like mine

Then I just bought the lights and made a template for the light to fit into and then cut my original rub strip and bonded them in.

You dont mention which octy you have. Is it a VRS?

Well guys ! Thanks for replying

The details are as follows ..

2000 skoda octavia

1.9 tdi

90 BHP

Silver

173000 not the clock and going like the clappers !

I have done some modifications like

Taken off the hideous Irish plastic number plates and replaced them with German pressed less the stickers ;)

Installed Vw bora sidemarkers

Installed amber fogs to match sidemarkers

Debadge rear bootlid (trickier than you would think )!!!

Lowered on fk coilovers around 3.5inches in rear and 2.5inches in the front

Sitting on 18inch rs6s

Roofbars are on and off depending on my mood . :)

I will upload pics whenever it allows me to

So guys I'm hoping to pretty much make this car into more of a looker (let's face it, they arnt the prettiest ) :)

Haha thanks

I was looking at a debadged grill but none on milotec.de tickle my fancy :)

They seem to be a small bit bulky :(

I will upload a pic of my car whenever it allows me and all can have a verdict :D

what front marker lights is everyone using??????????

RobClubley, you're a gent sorting the pics for the chap :)

I got the same style German Plates for mine, font looks so much better, and no NCT/Garda hassle with no pictures on them.

I know they dont really enforce it, but i know they have done people for them, and "non-standard colour" bulbs...

where did you get the grill level lights?

You should body colour match the rub strips all round, looks good on the Silver ones IMO

Yea they are such a nice looking plate and they don't have a plain look about them either [emoji6]

The grill lights where actually plane old fogs out of my local auto dealer

The brand was ring. That's as much as I know , I had trouble sourcing original fogs so I made my own ,

And to finish off I just hole sawed the diameter of the grill out [emoji3]

Thank for noticing by the way [emoji57]

Yea I'm getting her sent away for paint next week [emoji2] and I'm sorry to say the rs6s are going soon for a bigger and nicer wheel [emoji6]
