Hi Everyone!

 

Can someone recommend some rear shocks for my Octy estate1.9 tdi (105) 4x4, i'm not sure if they are the same as regular ones or different as there seems to be version for "reinforced suspension", or is this as case of biting the bullett and getting from my local dealer?

 

Also if anyone does have the original part code it might make finding a replacement easier,

If you're willing to jack a corner up and remove a wheel you should be able to clean the shock body enough to see the part number, perhaps only on one side as they don't always rust evenly from experience.

Worst case scenario you have to remove the shock lower bolt and turn the body round a bit to see properly, if you don't have an inspection mirror that is.

Of course you could phone an obliging Skoda dealer parts department asking what the part number is and seek it elsewhere.

When I replaced my FWD Octavia rear shocks I found the originals were branded Monroe and the best price I found was from:
