My Remap At Cc Tuning On 11/11/14

Featured Replies

Made 255bhp and 283ib/ft torque on mustang dyno.  I`m going back again soon after fitting uprated fpr and fuel pump.  Tuner thinks I will get even more power as it made those figures with no MAF too! (Found mine to be faulty so replacing for next run).  Very pleased with power.

Car is at 106k.  Stock actuator.

Big welly cooler.

Straight through exhaust system 3" downpipe to 2.5" stainless.

Forge motorsport FMV008 valve.

The tuner was very impressed with the health of my engine.  Before the remap the car made 205bhp at 11psi boost on the dyno!  He says the welly cooler will be having the biggest impact on the tune, but I also think the straight through stainless system is helping considerably.  Maximum flow and reduced engine temps. Would also like to point out this is a KO3S turbo.

See attached dyno printout.

Nice onw mate, bet uts fun to drive! Only down side we have woth k03 is hiw the power tails off after 4500 rpm

Still be bags of speed though

Good result that m8. I told you Chris knows his stuff.

Whats it like to drive now?

Is 255 a little optimistic here?

Est crank power ??

This was a stage 2 map guys.

I know the tuner quite well and spoke with him a day or two about this car. He said he was amazed by the performance of this car and that it was the best hes seen in the 11 years that he has been doing it.

From other work and results I have seen from him, I have absolutely no reason to doubt these figures.

It pulls like a rocket Dazz lol.  I`m astonished at the performance.  Problem is I have to be frugal with the throttle if its wet and I don`t use 1st much anymore, I just floor it in 2nd lol.  I`m glad you sent me to Chris.  Feels like a completely different car.  I would dare say Chris at CC Tuning is the top man when it comes to tuning the VW group cars!  :)
