Columbus Map Update

Featured Replies

Probably a really stupid question (and I've done a search!) but when you update the maps from a DVD, does one have to keep the ignition swiched on whilst it uploads to the hard drive? :wonder:

No, just put the disc in and leave it while you drive around. Then after a couple of hours, press the eject button and it should eject and validate the data. If you're going to do it parked up, just take the keys out and turn the Columbus on with the button, and then insert the disc. Check back in half an hour or so and turn the machine back on again (it goes off after 30 minutes).
