So.. behind the passenger headlight is a connector block
 

Please can someone tell me where the wire ( if their is one ) goes to from pins 2 and 4
 

iv had broken wires so stripped them out and replaced them. all my notes do not indicate where pins 2 and 4 go ? so maybe redundant ?

 

 

 

You will need to trace out where the loom goes to and then look for where your wires come out of the loom and connect to something,they will be coloured with possibly a main colour and poss a trace colour eg green(main colour) and blue(smaller trace) to see if they are used and then look at a circuit diagram for your car eg ELSAWIN, cheers - Stuart

Unplug that plug and look with vag com to see what faults you get.

 

I can't look on the wiring diagram for you unless I know what to look at
