        looking to upgrade the drivers seat in my superb combi 2.  recently purchased but not yet in service.it,s a taxi with a high annual mileage.

        is it possible to take a OE Recaro as fitted to a member of the VW family and transplant it in to the skoda with the appropiate base frame.

        your help and info would be appreciated.

Most OE Recaro seats do not have removable subframes, find one that does and it will be a fairly straightforward swap... the subframes are not cheap though.

Why would you want to change it. My SE is a great place to be and is very comfy I spend 5-8 hours a day in mine with no problem.
