Can anyone tell me if the ESP or whatever it is would still work if you fitted four pot calipers to a furby??

(i hope this isn't one of those annoying FAQ's......)

I can't imagine it would be a problem. Can you get four pots on a Fabia though?

If you have the right wheels then yes..

Xav's (my old) Fabia vRS.

Oh, and what size are the discs?? (I assume they were the reason for the different wheels.....)

if they are the same as on my octavia then they are 323mm x 30mm (i think)

they do the job :)

Rightyho, i'll add them to my shopping list for when i eventually get a vRS.......

Saving up takes sooooo long :( :(

your gonna need 17's at least. i got some VW santamonica's on mine and needed at least 8mm spacing to clear. gonna change em to 10mm and fit some 10mm at the rear too :)

Was looking at compomitives, hence the thread.

I'm bloody terrible, i want a furby cos it'll be cheaper to run, but i'm already planning all sorts of mods that are gonna make it expensive to run!!

Car's eh, who'd have em..... tsk..... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

won't make it expensive torun though will it, it'll still get awesome mpg ;)

The bigger problem will be peeling your face off the dashboard , as they do stop the car *very* rapidly. :D

That's what i keep telling myself.

[ghostly whining voice] 50mpg.... 50MPG.....[ghostly whining voice/]

I do 1200+miles a month. Mostly weekends. Live in hastings, work in oxfordshire!! (have a place to stay when up there).

I got mine through AmD when i worked there. Paid

If you get stuck talk to Ian Goney at Godspeed, Hes Fitted 335x32 Discs with AP racing 6 (YES 6) Pot callipers behind std Octavia RS Wheels.

If you manage to find a set of cheap 4 pot callipers he can make carriers (the brackets that attach callipers to the car) & Discs to suit a larger range of wheels

AMD are good but a bit pricey, i think thats why people tend to go elsewere tbh.

i know thats why i drove to peterborough to get it remapped/FMIC rather than bicester and i live in oxford!!

I was beginning to get that impression of them.

Says alot when you're willing to travel that far to go elsewhere!!!!

AmD tend to cater for the Audis and Porsches etc. We did do a fair few Skodas when I worked there including the One Click. That does seem to have died off now there isnt a link between us. They would be glad to help out anytime though.
