Hi all newbie here picked up my first ever skoda last month which is a cracking little fabia3 1.9 tdi pd105 but now have a problem with the rear parking sensor which when i put it in reverse it just gives out a long beep and thats it and sometimes doesn't do anything at all. Any help would be appreciated thanks dan

Welcome.

Put it in reverse (with engine off) and put your ear up against each sensor in turn.

You should hear a faint clicking noise. If not, it's goosed or a wire is broken.

If all four click, but still not working, it might be the buzzer or wiring.

Right i will give that a go and see what happens. Cheers mate

I've had this problem with my mk2 sport fabia and no matter what I have tried it constantly plays up

Could be dirt / water on the outside of one sensor causing it to think there's something very close to the car. Although this would show on the display (if appropriate).
