Hi all!

I'm Brett from chatham, A few of you may remember me from a few years ago, I used to own a black mk1 fabia vrs but regrettably sold it on for a mazda rx8 (biggest mistake ever!) since then it's been a chain of bad cars due to the mazda crippling me in finance and dying after just a year of owning it!

But I'm glad to say I've put down a deposit today for another black mk1 fabia vrs and collecting it ASAP I must say I've certainly missed the skoda and especially this forum!

A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD.
