newbie in plymouth

Hi all am new to skoda ownership but have been driving vw for years so same diffrence realy i have just bought a octavia vrs after the clutch went on my passat saloon.

Having said to freinds i was thinking about a octavia and the response being why would you want one of those i challenged them to find something with sensible fuel economy the practicality of a hatch and had a bit of poke for less than £1500.

As i suspected they came up with nothing so armed with £1100 here i am :-)

But as we all know buying something a little cheaper means you have a few little faults to sort out which leads me to the door of a freindly forum in the hope of coming across a little fault finding help.
