Went out this morning with a view to swapping my '59 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI for something more practical and frugal.

After a quick visit to Mitchell Mazda in Ellesmere Port. I spoke to an understanding salesman, that listened, and then recommended the Octavia Vrs 170.

After a jaunt to the Mrs' workplace for approval, I drove it back with 50mpg on the display and agreed to the sale after a quick negotiate on the finance.

Blue, xenon's, cruise, leather and only 15k on the clock. Quick search on my phone showed none with such low mileage for the same price, so I agreed to the sale.

Chuffed.

Pick it up Monday.

I had gone with a view to looking at the 170bhp diesel Mazda 3, and er, a Lexus CT200h.

Octavia ticks all the boxes and more. Very happy.
