I am thinking of getting an elegance 1.9tdi they seem to have good spec can I retro fit the maxidot to it ? and also whats the mpg like with the 1.9tdi its a 56 reg so I think its 105 bhp.

I'm having a problem with mine at the moment so not to good but when I get it fixed I hope it gets back to what I was doing before which was between 52 and 58 mpg depending on what I was doing.

Which I don't think is to bad as my old car would struggle to get to high fortys and that was on a long run.

Pretty sure its been said on here you cant fit maxidot.

Mike Holroyd has had maxidot retrofitted to his 1.9 TDI Elegance and there are members on here like Eddie NL who have fitted it for a number of other members.  The difficult part is sourcing the correct instrument cluster...

I agree with above, bearing in mind the Touran weighs in at 2 short of 1500kg, I see around 45 mpg around town, 50+ on longer runs and as said, if you go gentle you can pop into the 60s fairly easy.

1.9 TDI PD 105, no mods or maps.
