In car DVD players for rear passengers

Featured Replies

I have two boys aged one and four. The eldest has a portable DVD player that he sometimes watches and I was thinking about getting something a bit more permenant in the back.

It's hard to find decent up-to-date online reviews so I wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I fancy nine inch screens and was looking at the Next Base click and go, which is I think what Skoda install if you go to them anyway.

Cheers

I've had the Next Base setup before and the quality of the actual units is pretty good with good picture quality and decent sound. The only fly in the ointment was the fact that the holders into which the screens clicked in to rattled like nobody's business.........constantly, which drove me round the bend! Shame, as otherwise pretty good.

Rather than using a car based DVD solution, think about using tablets instead. Headrest mounts should be readily available, and you don't have the mechanical issues you get from DVDs.

Good information. Thanks. As for the rattling that will be lost in the multitude of car rattles/creaks and clicks.
