Am sure this will have been discussed on here elsewhere but as the 'old girl' is looking increasingly likely to need one sooner rather than later though I'd ask the question anyway!

So recommendations please, car is standard at present and would only be looking to have it re-mapped if anything?

Am confused by the wide variety available and the massive price range of differing products!

I have the ECS Stage 1 kit which is a G60 single mass flywheel and VR6 clutch. Very happy with it, like OEM but a bit lighter. I have the 22lb flywheel.

I did have to have the clutch strengthened when I fitted hybrid turbo and went over the 250lb/ft torque limit.

Some keen prices on e bay too, I've been looking lately as I'm pushing it slightly, although cars only done 70k and I'm light on clutches. Waiting until I get problems but that's what I'll go for when I do.

What VR6 engine codes have direct swap clutches for 1.8T?
