Hi all merry Christmas and all the best for the new year I'm new to the skoda scene and just got a Octavia vrs mk1 1.8T on a 02 reg it's tapping in start up and settles after a while but still taps the oil leval light has been on twice and back off done some reserch befor I bought her to be on safe side and it's all come back to oil pick up pipe as a common problem is this correct ? Spoken to a skoda dealer and they said I special grade oil has to be used as some are to thin ? The oil leval is full as checked it when I went to look at it all help an info is much greatfull cheers folks.
