Hi all, I need to replace my O/S headlight washer cover and was wondering if the jet arm needs to be proud of the bumper to fit or should it just click into place while its in the parked position?.

It'll be easier if you pull the arm out as you can support the back of the cap as you push it into place.

 

You can pull it out manually without damaging the mechanism.

This is the facelift but everything is identical on the pre-facelift except the rounded vs. square profile caps...

I suggest applying some glue when you fit it as i lost two on the same side in the space of two months!
