hallo to all i have a skoda octavia 4x4 model 2003 150bhp 1,8t.I want to chip ecu around 190bhp+.i have already put k&n filter and special air flow exhuast.

1.Can i do serial programming to the ecu on my own?

2.what cable do i need obd2 to serial or another special?(not the one for vag-com to programm the ecu)?

3.do i have to take the ecu chip out to programm it on programmer or can i do it from the obd2 port of the car?

4.what hardware and software do i need?

5.is there any manual settings that i can do to the ecu which bring me to the same level as the revo software or near?

6.If you dont suggest it ,what programm do you suggest?

7.if i have to buy revo can i buy it on the net and install it on my car by myself?or do i have to go to a revo dealer to do it?

8.which online stores do you suggest for cheap chiptuning revo or other products?

9.has anyone got rtk files from revo to programm ecu with revoflasher?

There is nothing you can do yourself to remap the car , but just about any of the tuning companies will be able to do the work for you via the OBDII port without needing to physically change anything.

I don't know what's available in Greece , but in the UK prices range from about 300 to 600 pounds. The good news is that your 150bhp engine will probably produce between 220 and 235 bhp afterwards.

do i have to go reseller?or can i buy on the internet revo products?

Revo is only available through their dealer network.

You could by a AmD One Click or DMS remap device that they could post out to you and you upload yourself, added bonus is you can put it back to standard and remap it again as many times as you like.

amd and dms is it a device you plug in the obd2 port and you press a button and remap the ecu?Or is it a software that you run on pc and you use the obd2 to serial cable?Can i use it on many cars or is it locked for one use only?Do you have a link of these items and a good price online store?Is there any device like these for the leon 1,8t 180bhp to go it to 220bhp+.How many bhp can i go my octavia with amd or dms remap device?can i go 200bhp?
