Anyone know how much different the Eibach springs for the vRS differ to those ofr the std TDi? I have a set of TDi springs and wondered if they would be OK to run on a vRS or wether i need to order some new ones.

No they arent ok to run on the vRS, tried it and leads to a bouncy ride as they arent strong enough for the heavier gearbox etc.

It's about 25kgs on the spring loading IIRC.

Pretty sure if you look on the Eibach site it tells you the loadings in the description something like 400kgs for TDi and 425kgs for vRS.

Agree with those above- when I was getting Eibachs for my Golf they had different different springs for cars with the same engine depending on whether they were fitted with A/C or not.

Same engine, just different gearbox.

Nope dont work. Trust me alex. The ones I bought of yourself have since been taken off the car.
