Sachs Springs

Featured Replies

Afternoon, has anybody had any experience of Sachs springs? I've seen EuroCarParts stock them, and i desperately need some as car is currently off the road. Are these my best option for budget springs that will do the job?

On a side note i've seen both eurocarparts and awesomegti stock apex lowering springs which again are very well priced, are they any good?

Not sure about sachs but I'm sure apex have the saggy backside issue which for some reason with mk1 octavia is very common when lowering. This is where the rear seems to lower further than the front. You can get round this by using polo top mounts or red polybush ones which then lower the front by another 10 - 15mm. I have some cobra lowering springs bought from europerformance iirc for sale if your interested. But it can be like opening a can of worms lowering on these. I did have the same issue at the rear but did get it ok in the end with polo top mounts on the front but yet another issue arose with using the standard shock absorbers as these couldn't handle the rebound with stronger springs. Like ive said it's a can of worms!!

THE SACHS SPRINGS ARE A REPLACEMENT SPRING WICH IS VRS SPECIFIC AND SHULD BE RATED SAME AS OE THEY ALSO COME WITH A 3 YEAR WARRANTY N THEM FOR PEACE OF MIND :) WHICH IS NICE

Those Lesjofors (?) ones looked fine
