I have just aquired a ex police 05 plate black vrs and done 188k with 2 owners

I think the engine is knackered but unsure until I get under the bonnet.

The car looks clean but I haven't seen it in the daytime yet.

What is the car worth or would it be better of stripping?

188k and a potentially dead engine? Almost certainly gonna be worth more in bits. Depends on what you want to do with it though. If it was really cheap or free, you could probably get a donor engine for under £350 and keep it/run it into the ground - cheap motoring!

I already have a vrs this 2 as just so cheap I couldn't say no.

I probably will brake it as it's quite peppered on the outside aswell

I think it has been oil starved, but not sure the woman I got it off didn't have a clue.
