Coolant temperature 2,0 fsi

Featured Replies

Hi folks.

I have noticed that the air temperature from the ducts in the car isn´t that hot like it used to be.

My temp gauge is rock stable at 90 deg but when i read the coolant temp with my Autel vag505 scanner it says73-75.

My first thought was of course that the thermostat is not ok but when i have the car parked and idleing the fans starts after some minutes even if my vag505 scanner says 75 deg.

What i Heard the temp display will show 90 even if the actual temp is 70-100. so what can cause this?  Bad thermostat or bad temp sensor or something else?

Any ideas?

Anyone else have this problem?

I have a similar problem, going to start with replacing the temp sensor first , if not then it will be the thermostat itself, I think it's suppost to be a bum to fit tho
