Yeti black edition to add to new citigo...

Featured Replies

While in the dealers the other day buying a citigo Monte Carlo, I noticed what appeared to be a good deal on a yeti black edition (18.5k for pre-reg). Since I was already looking to change the wife's car for something else in the near future, a friend suggested I'd be mad to not get the yeti instead of the VW caddy that was planned. I'm strongly leaning towards the same conclusion.

The idea was that the yeti would do what the wife's current LR Defender does, which is primarily take her too/from work, but also serve as an occasional kennel during working hours for our small dog, who has the whole of the backend to lounge about in. It would also allow us to swap cars more frequently, as the yeti is way more economical than the defender and I'd not feel too bad about CO2 emissions doing my commute.

A few questions someone maybe could answer:

- does the black edition have colour coded yeti outdour bodywork and protection panels, or is it simply a non-outdoor yeti in SE trim as the skoda material is a bit vague. My confusion stems from the fact that the non-outdoor version doesn't have the 140hp diesel option.

- how big is the step in the back from the passenger floor zone up to the boot zone when the seats are removed?

- how heavy are the varioflex seats - 10's of kilos each?

Cheers,

Cheers.   I've done as you suggested and posted those questions and another to the yeti section.
