Back on the alarm topic, it is sold as an option in France as well, for most cars.

Few insurances requires an alarm, depending on the car.

No - I mean the RenaultSport Megane that I saw in a Renault dealership last year had seats like that, with that 'RS' logo on them.

So it's not called a Megane RS in the UK.

Renault Sport cars are called R.S., I think everywhere else. That confirms the trademark constraint in UK.

 

And this is the explanation for the vRS while we call them RS out of the UK.
