vRS seats

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Done loads of searches, but struggling to chose which cleaner to get that will be suitable for the leather, white alcantara, and also the black fabric in the centre of the seats.

So far I'm mainly looking at these:

Also, the centre fabric has bobbled up a bit, as shown here:

Best way to tackle it?

Hurray! NOW the parents decide to tell me they have a wet vac!  So I might practice on the mats first.

Will poorboys natural look dressing work well for the dash? Used it on the VXR and it wasn't bad.  Still got half of a bottle so might as well use what I have.

AD Fab is er.....Fab :) I've used it on fabric seats & carpets with good results. On Alcantara I spray Fab onto a MF cloth &!gently agitate.

I de-bobble seats with a hand held device which is used on clothing, quite cheap from Wilkos, supermarket etc.

Glipstone Twins is good on leather

Wet Vac is a bonus

A bit of a different approach to NM, I use meguiars APC on seats, carpets, leather (although not often as it may affect it if used regularly or too strong a concentration), door shuts, tyres and under the bonnet. It's very versitile. Like NM says though, better with dedicated leather products to take good care of it.

It's funny, first thing that came to mind was a debobbler, but I was concerned that it might be too harsh...

Can I just bump this to ask what people think about using a vax wet vax on the alcantara?  Just go easy with just water and no chemicals?

Right I am gonna follow this thread as I too have dirty bit in the middle of my seat :-/

Sorry..Never used a wet Vax on Alcantara, but cant see that it would be a problem..its only Faux Suede......and no chemicals involved

I'm going to use AG IS by hand to clean it then use the Vax with only warm water to 'dry-ish' rinse it.  Will take photos :)

Sounds good

So how do you work it in the with a brush? Cloths? How much water?
