I'm getting a mk1 fabia vrs 56 reg and wanting to know that if I get VCDS, will I get most use out of it, or is the car too old, to make full use?

programme the steering heavier......................one press unlock.......................beeps/blinks on or off on lock or unlock...........................also used mine to code a new ABS unit to the car................

 

 

 

 

Using it like mad on the MK7 Golf though!..................

It's limited compared to options available on Fabia 2 / Octy 2 - which have the later canbus diagnostics system.

 

I wouldn't be without it for me though - incredibly useful boost logging tool, and fault finder / clearer.

I've not found it of much use when I've scanned Mk1 Fabia's due to the lack of CAN BUS functionality.

A very useful tool to have, gives a hell of a lot of information can bus or no can bus.
