Well since putting my car back 2geva after my run in with Foxy Loxy :) I have adjusted loads stuff to get all my bumper aligned and headlights in right place, Thanxs to forum members help with helping what to do! Since car been back 2geva when I start it up I don't get the headlight sweep from the xenons, I don't even hear the motors moving them!! Have I lost a function and anything I can do to get it back ? Any help be brill

Is the light switch turned on to auto if not you dont get the sweep, failing that have you connected all the wiring on the back of the lights. Have you dislodged connector under the wing.

Yeah all connected there is only one plug on the xenon lamps, and all on auto just getting nothing

It happened with my Octavia II Pre FL .

I was installing HID conversion kit so I had to remove the headlamps after removing them auto level ( you can not say this auto level all it does is goes up and down one time) is gone. I thought that I messed that so I ignored it after few months I was repairing the water drainage in A pillar unfortunately I got Airbag Fault in my instrument cluster . Friend of mine works at Skoda as service manager at my local Skoda service center, so I went up there to remove the Airbag Fault error .

He plugged in the diagnostic tool and remove all the errors ( I do not remember the specific one). But after that auto leveling was working . I do not know how to remove that in VCDS.

Anyway after a month or two I had to remove my headlamp again and my leveling stop working again . So I am now sure that whenever removing the headlamps it stops working .
