12 CIGARETTE LIGHTER NOT WORKING

Featured Replies

Thought it could be just a fuse but fuse is ok (No24) on my  car. Any idea what else it could be?. Thanks.

Is it still connected? The connector is stiff so I can't see it coming unplugged on its own though.

The first row of large fuses the third from the end, is where my fuse is located. Mines blown too.

Mines gone and the fuse is fine, I'm going to pick up a replacement once I'm paid and see fi that fixes it as I'm screwed otherwise with nowhere to plug SatNav in. This seems like a common(ish) problem then.

When checking the fuses remember that the card and the diagram in the handbook are often the mirror image of the fuse box as the fuse layout shown is for a left hand drive with the fuse box at the opposite end of the dash.

Mines blown as I decide to power something else from it and am lazy when it comes to tidying wires....
