Octavia VRS Blackline Wheel Cleaner

Featured Replies

Hi,

The black gloss alloy wheels on the VRS Blackline, can they be cleaned with normal wheel cleaner or do they need something special. I'm currently using Valet Pro Bilberry wheel cleaner.

Thank you very much

Mark

Yes, you can still use your normal wheel cleaner.

Hi NorthernMonkeyThank you very muchMark

You're welcome

+1^^^^I've used bilberry wheel cleaner on mine with no adverse effects. Being black they will show any marks easier than normal alloys. I've coated mine with carbon collective ceramic wheel sealer- you have to make sure the wheels are very clean and it's best to do them off the car but they are easier to keep clean once done. I use a Dooka sheepskit wheel pad to clean mine with after asnowfoam and jetwash to get as much off as possible but whatever you use only apply light pressure and keep it clean to help avoid scratching them. If you don't fancy a Dooka there are some good quality soft wheel brushes (and bad ones too) out there.
