Yep, exactly. Had to double-check that any I was looking at offered 'active' noise cancelling.

Just bear in mind that in airplane mode on a flight your bluetooth will be disabled.....Not that I've ever forgotten and only brought bt 'phones :blush:

A lot of the bluetooth ones have a 3.5mm jack so they can be used wired when required.

Id love some bose but they are mega money for how often i would use them.  I brought somne urban ears from JFK on my way home from NYC in the summer and they are great nice and comfy and good value for money (i think i paid $60)
