Hello folks,  I just ordered my first ever car! A Skoda Citigo greentech SE

 

I looked at loads of cars, especially the I10 and UP!   I loved the I10, but the Citigo is just a great deal compared to the I10 and besides the shiny dash I couldn't think of one good reason to get the UP! over the Skoda besides the badge on the front.  I wish I had an elegance but I struggled to justify the extra money just for a nicer steering wheel.

If you had told me at the start of this process that I would end up with a Skoda I would have laughed but I think I really nailed this purchase, I was in touch with a number of local dealers and got a great deal (monthly pcp) and even managed to get a free PID and 3 years free servicing... after being offered this deal I was in the dealership and paid the deposit within an hour, very happy with it.

 

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that this forum is great and very helpful, I read quite a lot of threads when trying to decide if this was worth getting over the UP! and it was very helpful.
