Gents,

 

I'm planning to swap out the oil on my 2011 MkII Superb in the coming weeks.

 

I plan to jack one side of the car up with a trolley jack (on the jacking point under the arrows on the sill) using my trusty rubber hockey puck.

 

As I'm not simply swapping wheels (as I normally am doing when I have the car off the ground), I will need the trolley jack for the other side of the car.

 

The question I have is where should I locate the axel stand. I can't put it under the sill as the trolley jack will be in the way so it'll need to go further under the car.

 

I don't want to lower the weight of the car down onto the axel stand without being 100% sure I have it under the right part of the underbody.

 

I've searched numerous threads with plenty of mentions of suspension and console components, but I need to be able to relate to these parts visually!

 

Does anyone have a picture of the underside of their car (doesn't need to be a Superb, I'm sure the basics are the same) to point me in the right direction!?

ill be honest i haven't jacked mine up yet to use the axel stands so until i look i can't offer any support but suppose any reply will help me too :clap:
